Saudi residing Indian - marry UK national

Post new topic

Springflower_leo

Hello,

My fiancé is based in UK & wants to do Nikah in Dec. We both want to have family attend and Bahrain seems a likely option. I'm a resident of Saudi & can easily get visa on arrival and he can apply a tourist visa for Bahrain & arrive as well.

I have some family residing in Manama already for the last 6 years.

Question:

1. Can we get married (perform Nikah) - through a judicial court in Bahrain? This will give us a marriage certificate that will
Help prove its a civil marriage for paperwork later.

OR

Have the Nikah at a mosque and can attain a court certificate on that basis?

2. Both of us are divorced.
3. Anything we need to know?
4. Is this possible?

Appreciate any help on this. Many thanks in advance.
