Post new topic

Dear friends,

I have got a job offer of 7500 Ringgits pm and an additional  2 to 3 months salary as annual bonus. I have total experience of 6 years.
I am being told i will be moved to permanent payroll after 6 months, I am married and have a kid of one year
So can anyone help me to figure out
1)Is the package good enough ?
2)What would be my approx take away after taxes
3)Average monthly expenditures including rent/utilities/transport/internet/groceries etc

Thanks in advance

Nemodot

No my rule of thumb as min is 10k single plus 2k for a wife plus 1k per kid pre school and 5k per kid at school.

On that basis 13k you can live ok. On 7.5k you will end up using your savings and seriously regret coming to malaysia. No goodies on that salary barely eat! Do note bonuses often dissapear in malaysia. You statement about perm payroll sounds dodgy!

If you are 23 and single would be ok salary btw. Not with experience and a family
