Good morning,
I was offered a job in Dubai by a benexo recruitment agency for the Harbour Hotel and Resorts Dubai and I have been in contact with the cyclewaytravel agency. What I need to know is, if this is not fake because I have been asked to send 1500 USD for my visa/resident/permit. I need some confirmation if this is true so I can proceed with the formalities.

I did some research online, they don't have any valid website or trusted sources, plus I never heard of them. So I don't think its good idea to trust them out of blue.

It doesn't seems legit. Because no company will ask money to proceed with Visa/Permit or whatsoever, atleast till you join the company.

Most of the time it is taken care by Employers. Very few companies ask Employees to pay for it, but ONLY AFTER FIRST SALARY.

This is 100% scam, stay away from it. Because it's the responsibility of the employer to meet all the expenses related to the visa processing as charging it from the employee is illegal. Besides, they are asking too much since the total expense which your employer need to pay is only AED 2213 (Maximum).

Generally speaking recruiters do not ask perspective job candidates to pay for anything, the employer pays all the costs, and may or may not deduct that from a successful candidates pay later. That alone would indicate to most of us that you're being scammed.

It is closed now, but the following topic thread is very helpful for anyone who is in doubt if an offer they've received or a recruiter they're dealing with is a SCAM. Read it...
