Post new topic

Leon82

Heyy, I'm a Dutchy planning to move to Mexico City in april 2011 to go live with my fiancee. This is a crazy plan cause my Fiancee is 12 weeks pregnant too! So I have a lot of questions:

Can our child get the Dutch and Mexican nationality?
How can I get childsupport (kinderbijslag)? I read only when you are expat, so anybody tips on how to find a Dutch employer who will send me to Mexico? (seems like mision impossible)
Any tips on finding a job? I'm a senior IT consultant speaking fluent English, Spanish (and of course Dutch)

Hope to hear from a you!!

Hi Leon

Congrats for your baby! =)

Now trying to answer your questions:
1) I'm pretty sure your baby can get both nationalities, If he/she born in Mexico automatically will be mexican. I'll depend on the German laws the other nationallity but Mexico allows to have 2, 3 or more.
You can check this page:
http://www.sre.gob.mx/en/index.php?opti … &Itemid=69
I'm sure they can provide you more info about that subject.

2 and 3) Maybe you can check this links

Sorry for my english, hope you understand!
