How to do an international divorce

Assalaamu Alaykum/ Salutations;
I hope this finds all of you well. I am wondering how to secure a divorce from Bahrain. I am American and my husband is Saudi. The permission was never granted in Saudi for our marriage to be valid but our marriage is valid in the United States because we were married there.

Any suggestions?

1. Get sign & conformation from your own embassy.
2. go to Ministry Islamic Municipalities Affairs in Manama pay 5 BD to get married certificates letter.
