Import Duty

Post new topic

Julie McKellar

I have been looking at lots of websites, and it looks like I will have to pay import duty on most things I ship here.  is that correct, or is it different for EU people who have already paid taxes.  Also wondered if we can both bring a car into the country and how long must we have had that car.

Ive heard that if you've owned the car for more than  2 years, you don't have to pay import duty, but think there's a problem if you sell it?

you live in the EU so no import duties to bring your stuff.

Registration tax on cars you havnt owned for more than 2 years.
