Job offer - concerns

Post new topic

Dear all,

I got a job offer from a worldwide company located in Manama, Bahrain. I will not ask about salary, cost of living etc, however there is enough information in the forum. They provide me 3 months semi-furnished accommodation, and besides salary which is only BHD 350, they offer 1% of every sale which will be proportionally split among the persons involved. I would like to ask if you are aware of the amount of such bonuses. 1bedroom accommodation in Juffair begins from BHD 250-300, which is almost all of the salary they offer. How much income will I have that I should rent an accommodation, live there and should be able to send money back my home. Please also let me know what is usually included into semi-furnished accommodation.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

I'm not sure how to go about finding it- but you might try to find a flatshare arrangement where you just rent a room in an apartment. You would only have one room to yourself, but sharing space often means getting to share household goods, which can cut out some of those costs.

I did a quick search and found one place that filters housing by room rentals: https://www.expatriates.com/classifieds/bhr/rma/

And if you are on a budget, I would highly suggest Daiso and HomeBox for simple house items (like cooking utensils) because I have found those two places to be the very cheapest.
