I traveled to France in Sept of 2010 and was able to use my blacberry with no problems at all. My provider here in the USA is Verizon, they have an International Plan which works all over Europe. However, you need to have the compatible Blackberry for what ever plan offers this option. I do not know what provider you have, but there are "loaners" that most providers have for the specific use of traveling overseas. Check online for phones that you can lease for traveling and weight out which one is the best option for your. Enjoy your trip, France is beautiful and you should take as many pictures as you can.
