Hi,

Around mid February we will be in Australia. We moved from the Netherlands to Australia. We worked there for more than 4 years. We like to make a change again and to move to Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh city.
Does any one as experience to apply for a job in the travel/hospitality industry?

Please let me know for some direction?

thanks,
Quirine

Some of the major hotels and resorts need staff, though their preference is for locals. Tourist Industry is hampered by govt policy to cap wages for foreigners. Even tour guides for major companies like Saigon Tourist have to buy their way in, about $10,000 to become a tour guide. Foreign owner resorts are your best bet, especially in the beach resort areas where events jobs are generally readily available. Don't expect forein wages though.
