Student health insurance filing

Post new topic

So in France I am currently a student and need to file my health insurance with l'Assurance Maladie. For this I need a RIB (that's the french name) but I do not know what the American equivalent is or where to find it on my bank website. I called my bank and the woman told me that they don't do those, but I find that hard to believe because it's just my basic bank account information. My bank is Capital One if that makes any difference.

If anyone could help me that would be great!

Hi Celia - RIB is relevé d'identité bancaire, or your bank account number.

Thank you, Julie! My boyfriend (who is French) kept telling me it was a special paper and he confused me so much.
