hey guys I'm trying to find out some information on behalf of my partner whos a French citizen. we have been living in
Australia for the last 3 years and she has fallen pregnant unexpected. her health insurance in australia wont cover pregnancy/maternity
as you had to have had it on her policy for 12months to claim so we missed out. giving birth in Australia is rather
expensive so weve decided to have the birth in France in that way she would be covered. I have flowen back to australia
as I was only aloud to stay in the country for 90 days. My partner is still in france and having bloods tests scans ect
she is staying with her parents and not currently working at the moment, she is 10weeks at the moment.
She informed me she recieved a letter saying that she wont be covered as she resides in australia now, is there anyway
around this? If you can help please do or refer me to someone or somewhere else I can find the information. thanks guys

Does your partner still hold French citizenship, meaning she hasn't given it up to be an Australian citizen?

She still has her French passport an is still a citizen.
