Hi all,

When an America marries a Turk, will she become a Muslim automatically?

And will she have to give up her US citizenship?

No, you have to say the declaration of faith in front of two Muslim men to become a Muslim.

Both Turkey and the US allow dual citizenship so applying shouldn't be a direct issue for the US.
Any kids born to a mixed marriage (or even not married) have dual citizenship and there doesn't appear to be any requirement to give up either as they become adults.
