Hello,
I would like to seek help/advice. I am Filipina aupair , currently living in Denmark. My fiancee and I are planning to get married in Norway. Is it possible to a foreign citizen( Me)  who only have Schengen visa issued from Denmark to get married in Norway?

Thank you for your quick response.

Best regards,
Teyt

Yes. Its very posible.  I think you can find info at UDI.no about it. Or contact the church or any personel to the place where you want to get married and ask info what to do. ;) good luck and congrats.

Thank you sweetlhynz. ☺️ We are planning to get married in Tinghuset. We are not really quite sure if it is possible, as what I have said I am here in Denmark holding an aupair visa and he's a Norwegian citizen.  We don't want to apply a fiancee visa thru UDI.

Before you can book an appointment to get wedded in tinghuset, you need a license to get married from Skatt.  To do that, you need to provide a number of documents.

Check the above link for the documents you need.  Note that there is validity of the date of the documents from your wedding date.  It cannot be older than a certain period of time.  This means you must plan out your document retrieval carefully.
