Chaiah

My husband is Moroccan and I decided to immigrate to Maroc. My arrival will be in about 3 weeks. We hope to find an home for rent in the Fes/Rabat/Tangier areas. I'm Jewish and my husband is Muslim. My affinity is for animals and I'd love to begin a strong program to spay/neuter strays and family pets (though there are few). Finding a veterinarian to assist would be wonderful! Teaching communities about caring for G-d's creatures with whom we have an obligation to care is important.

I wonder if this could, somehow, become hand-in-hand with orphanages to help children foster these dogs/cats until - possibly - both find homes maybe together.

I'd also like to work with children in orphanages...  combining these two activities could be a real blessing to both child and pet.

Good luck in that .

It is against Islam to spay/neuter animals (hence the massive population of cats!) However I wish you luck :)
