Hello there Expat Community,

With all due respect, I'm in favor looking for a fresh start and looking for a job opportunity within Jakarta city. I can go for any level of position available as long as it fit with me. Hopefully you guys able to resolve my dilemma in getting a job.  :thanks:

Cheers,
Fendy

Have you looked at jobs DB or somewhere similar. I am sure they will be more useful than a few expats living in the city.
And you should also state what you can actually do rather than saying 'as long as it fits with me' because that sounds pretentious and limiting.
As someone who helps recruit and pass on employment prospects your introduction gets you straight to the bottom of my list.

What do we have?
A polyglot with useful skills and interests in art and culture - I'd say your chances are above average.
If your interests extend past street art, get involved in the local art scene - enjoyable and very nice networking for someone in your position.

I've been into LinkedIn for this whole time looked out for expat opportunities! A million thanks for your kind advice on my specific professionalism in what I can actually do. Indeed Sir! There is no actual limitation as I'm always open for any opportunities that could leverage my working skills and willing to learn working with any type of available industry that could give me a chance. Oh shoot! As someone who've been traveled a lot, I do hope I'm able to re-introduction myself even better to gain your trust. As someone who've been traveled a lot, your consideration are much much appreciated to get me on your list again as it's my bucket-list to work at Jakarta. Hope to hear from you soon Mr Lukereg.

Best Regards,
Fendy

Hey thanks for the info Fred! A polygot like me looking out for his 1st adventure abroad.  :thanks:  Hmm for interests in art and culture I have, is my personal reason to have Jakarta as my choice in getting a fresh start despite of in looking for a better life career.

I've been to Jakarta for the last few months with my partner. Stayed at Kota Tua for couple of days explored Jakarta makes me fall in love with the street local art, the language and the ocean which immediately in-sense to move there. How I wish to be there again asap so I'm able to Go-Jek myself to your place and have a coffee chat, Fred. Someday..

Fred

I'm indescribably antisocial to the point of being a sociopath so I never meet anyone new (Unless you're a terrifically good looking lady who doesn't know my wife).
