HI:  I have been living in Thailand for just over 5 years now and formerly lived in Phuket where I my family doctor was in the Bangkok Hospital in Phuket.  I  have married and am living now in Si Rattana, approximately 40 minutes from the Sisaket Hospital.  I would like to have a family doctor in Sisaket or other nearby local hospital, however the medications that I require are not I am told,  for unknown to me reasons, available at any of these hospitals.  I even travelled to Ubon Ratchathani to no avail.  Instead,  apparently the nearest hospital that carries the needed medications,  is the Bangkok Hospital in Khon Kaen,  some 300 km and approx. 4.5 hours distant!   I believe that I can obtain the necessary doctor's checkup and blood tests done locally, but need somehow to obtain the required medications.  The medications are as follows:
Micardis (40 mg); MaDIPlot (20 mg); Lipitor (40 mg); Nexium (20 mg); and Sifrol (125mcg)
Generic names are as follows: telmisartan; manidipine; atorvastatin calcium; esomeprazole sodium; and Pramipexole dihydrochloride monohydrate
Can anyone advise as to whether it is possible to obtain these medications online? Any advice, assistance will be much appreciated.

The smaller rural hospitals are often rudimentary at best.  For anything serious they are just a stopover to stabilize you for transfer to a better facility.  It might be necessary to make a trip to Khon Kaen to develop a relationship and then try to persuade them to assist you in getting the medication you need delivered, somehow.  As you have discovered, remote rural living can present problems and obstacles not easily overcome.

Have you asked your new doctor/and/or pharmacy to order them from Bangkok for you? A pharmacy should be interested in having a continual supply of meds for you, even if you are the only one ordering them.
An alternative: if you have the scripts for these meds, you could even order them from Canada Drugs online. A doctor friend of mine reccomends this firm highly as their meds are genuine (plus, most prices are half what they'd cost in the States) and they ship everywhere.
