How to Report Business Scam

Post new topic

ahmedwarda

I partnered with a Filipino businessman for import of chocolate and other products from Italy. It was my mistake that I easily gave cash without verifying the business of this man. Turns out, he scammed my money and even used fake people to represent an import company with whom he is no longer associated. I already tried going to police stations but it wasn’t much of help and they only discourage me about taking my money back. Now, I am suffering financially in this country.

Sorry to hear you story. But unfortunately you might never get your money back. From the narration you gave and its conclusion is that you were scammed and not unless you can find the individual and sue him which might also take more of you money i did say move on. Count it as a loss and a lesson to learn from when transacting business of any kind.

Again sorry, if police can't help you, am not sure who can then.

Sorry to hear that but unless you don't know the real name of the person who scammed you, it will be hard for you to file complain. Try to coordinate with your embassy for them to recheck your case. I think that's the best way to do even in other countries.

The OP can't name the person on this forum as he's made serious allegations so naming would amount to defamation unless the case had already been proven in court.
