Hello. Sir my family just came in Belgium tow month before. They received A card temporary resident card. I have three children. They want go back for finish school year unill March. Then they will come back after Axam in March 2018.my question is how long period they can live outside Belgium on this A temporary resident card. Card valdaity
period is one year.thanks

Technically I guess they can return anytime during the validity of their residence permits. I am not sure what is the period that they are allowed to stay outside Belgium without impacting their continuous stay here (which will later be counted for PR, etc).

3 months should be ok, but I dont have any official reference for this. You may check with the local commune ?
