Traffic in Denmark

Hello everyone,

Which city or area do you live in in Denmark, and how do you find the traffic?

How long does it take to commute to work or run errands?

Is there a rush hour in your city? What times of the day would you recommend people to avoid driving if they can?

Are there any ways to avoid spending too much time in traffic in Denmark?

What is parking availability and cost like?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

If you are living in Copenhagen. Cycling is the best way to get around.

It took me 45-50 minutes to drive from Brrønshøj to my work, (32 km) just outside of Roskilde.  Then when my institution moved to the UN building in Nordhavn, it also took 45 minutes (abut 5 km)!  Public transit took the same amount of time.

The traffic has gotten a lot worse since then.
