American in Saudi to marry Jordanian - What is the process?

Inshallah, you are still answering questions on this forum.

I am an American citizen, muslima, living in Saudi. I am engaged to a Jordanian who is also here in Saudi. We need to understand the process and procedures to get married islamically and legally. I read the thread on Nikah process. Does this apply to us as well?

My advice just go to Jordan the process is easier than here
