Hi, I'm a New Zealander, currently in holidays in Belgium, I would like to get a WHV for France. Am I able to get one directly in Belgium ?
Thank you

Welcome to the Forum Claurhen :)

I am pretty sure it can only be done back at the French Embassy in Wellington, you could contact the Embassy in Belgium. But the process does take a number of weeks and you do need a fair bit of documentation to submit as well.

With the working holiday visa, citizens from New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Colombia can enjoy a one year working holiday in France.
This is a multiple-entry non-extendable visa. It takes two weeks to process from the date of your visa appointment and is valid for 12 months. You can apply up to three months before your planned arrival in France.
If you hold this visa, you may travel to other Schengen Zone countries for up to 3 months in any 6 month period.
Participants are not eligible to receive any unemployment or social welfare benefits while in France.
Holidaymaking in France must be the main purpose of the stay. The working holiday visa cannot be issued for any other purpose (e.g. joining your partner in France, studying, working as an Au Pair, finding long-term employment or obtaining a rugby contract).
The status of the working holiday visa cannot be changed during the stay.

You can apply at the French Embassy in Wellington if:
1.    You are a citizen of New Zealand
2.    You are aged 18 to 30 the day of your application appointment
3.    You haven’t already applied for this type of visa
4.    You want to travel and work in France
5.    You are in good health
6.    You have no dependent children or relatives
7.    You have enough money to support yourself while in France

Further information and the documents you require can be found HERE.

Good luck
