yes, we need to translate these documents into arabic.
-integral copy of birth certificate
-japanese criminal records
-a certificate justifying your profession and incomes

so you think there is no need for stamps in japan? only here in morocco after translation?

Yes I think you need to translate them in Morrocco. I don’t think they will accept a transaction done in another country. The places that do do the translation in Morrocco are like solicitors, they provide certified translation. Even if you get them translated in Japan they will make you translate again in Morrocco because that’s the system

Yes, we want to translate them in morocco. But the documents are in japanese... i dont think we can find translator from japanese to arabic in morocco    so our plan is that he translate the documents from japanese to english in japan, and we translate them from english to arabic in morocco.
that can be ok?

I think they will translate it in Morrocco from Japanese to Arabic. The way I understand it they have to translate the original. Maybe they will charge you a bit more or it will take longer (as they need a Japanese translator to find). I’m sure they will translate every language

i feel nervous about it!!!    i looked online if there is any assermented translator that translate japanese, i couldnt find any   
what should we do in case we dont find any japanese translator? 

I think the translation place will scan your documents and email them to someone who can translate them. I’m sure it will be fine. Probably have to get it done in Rabat or maybe Casablanca

Hi, first congratuation on your marriage. i may share you some experience hope be of help as i undersand its not easy to find translator between asian language and arabic.
i had the documents yuo listed translate into arabic in china and the document is sent to both mininstry of foreign affiar and embassy of morroco in china for legalization, as morocco requires all foreign document for dual legalization (both ministry and embassy). you have to do the same in Japan. if better you get the document being translated in arabic or you have to translate into english as you have to choose a language that morrocan embassy in Japan will recognize.
the court in casablance requires all orginal documnts if not in french nor arabic, it shall be translated into arabic in morocco by authorized translator. however, the court was so nice to accept our legalized documents wihtout translating again in morocco. my husband even consider the worst case we could have is to have all documents translate from arabic to arabic in morocco, as we can't find authorized translator making translation from chinese to arabic or vice verse. so if your legalized documents in Japan (by both mininstry of foreign affairr and embassy of Morocco in Japan) are in english, its stll fine you can find authorized translator in morroco to help you do the translation job. but as i said, if you alreaady got the documents in arabic you might save the work in morocco.

thank you    i sent email to japanese embacy in rabat.

i wish we can find the best and easier way to complete all this.
i sent email to japanese embacy in rabat. they said they are able to give all the documents in french in japanese embacy of rabat, but we need to take appointment for it.
if we take all the documnts from the embacy and just translate them from french to arabic, can they be accepted at the court? can it be denied if it's all from embacy?

HI, you will get two document in rabat both of them ar in french and they ar accepted by the court in casablanca no need for translation.
(1)one document as you said u will get it from Japanese embassy they will need issue a paper for your qualification of marriage (or capacity of marriage etc.) but the document shall be stamped and legalized by the ministry of foreign affair in rabat because the court will only regconize their own country stamp not your embassy. the ministry is not far from the embassy area u can get the paper from embassy and quickly go to ministry and get it done.
(2) another document u need get it in rabat is the police check by the ministry of justice. you show them your passport and they will give you a receipt to collect the paper in the afternoon. the document is also in french which you can directly submit it to the court.

p.s. if u dont live in rabat and you may need arrange the trip more efficient or you may end up commute to rabt many times, the embassy may close earlist, followed by ministry of foreign affiar then ministry of justice.
pp.s. if you ar in moroco its better off going to court in the city where you ar going to register and see what the requirment of the court asks. they will have a list of required document being post on the wall outsode od the office for ppl reference. sometimes the documents and requirment can ne slightly different from city to city. just make sure we get all we need its better we ar right at the beginning. paper for mix marriage can be a long and complex process but its all worth it in the end. wish u all fine.

in embacy they said they can give interal birth certificate in french, it would problem if we just take it from embacy?
also they ask for proof of incomes and proffesion.... bank statement can be ok? and how to proove the profession? wat can proove his work??

Sure i will be glad if i can be of help. the original docuemnts if in french or in arabic you dont need to translate (at least its the situation of court in casablanca). so if Japan embassy in morocco as much court-required documents as possible it would be great. otherwise all local documents u get it from Japan u will need legalized by both Japan ministry of foreign affair and Moroccan embassy in Japan, after that it can be used in morocco.
for the item of profession and the income i had my employer (human resourxe ddepartment)to issue a paper to certify such information  singned by the company chop, no one pproof is better than your employer. then i got the paper legalized by local  govenmet office (in china  we hve notary  firm to do that legalization and certified translation) and further sent to ministry of foreign affair and morocan embassy for legalization. then the document can be suubmited to court as i already hhad iit in arabic.

Hello!  We are still on.the procedure but i would be glad if i can help you. My fiance could get capacity of marriage ,  full birth certificate and also you can get certificate of nacionality from embacy of rabat. They give it in french so you just have to stamp them in rabat and take them to translator from french to arabic. If you wanna know anything, you can ask me! I will be happy to help you.

@Bubbleboo. First of all he has to convert to Islam religiously sis. I have recently got married and I am an Indian born Muslim. Alhamdulillah my process has been completed successfully. Please note that in specific to the Capacity of Marriage should be the same template shared by the Moroccan court of family. I was challenged for having a different format and additional to that the Capacity of Marriage has to be Apostille or stamped by Ministry of External Affairs in Japan. Apostille = not required to stamp by  Ministry of External Affairs Morocco and stamped by Ministry of External Affairs in Japan = has to be approved and stamped in Ministry of External Affairs Morocco too, then get it translated. Per copy should cost you 200 dhs, cheapest I could find. It is just close to the Legalize department in Rabat. Medical test I suggest do it from Morocco since it will be issued in Arabic with no requirement to translate. Then you need the criminal record from Japan and one from Rabat criminal justice, it is simple. Proof of Work and income translated. You have to get your originals, translated copies and plus all additional copies legalized from the local muqatawa(I am not sure the exact term, i will find from my wife).... 2 dhs stamps and then he stamps back in red and signs them off..... Once you finish producing the docs in the court, they will hand you two envelops, one has to be delivered to the Police protectorate and another to the local muqatawa(I am not sure the exact term, i will find from my wife). Envelop one - Police protectorate will take it and request you to visit on specific date for one on one verification, and then they will also provide you with a date to appear in the court back again. Envelop two - Go to muqatawa and the process remains the same as the Police protectorate but they will hand you the result unlike the Police protectorate which will be again an envelope sealed that you have to provide to the court. In shah ALLAH all will be fine...

Thanks for your reply. I got my documents in Japan and next week will be travelling to Morocco. As my name is muslim and i am muslim by birth. It will not be a problem i guess. Could you find any one who can translate from Japanese to arabic? And usually how long will it take to complete the process of marriage in court?

I am really not sure about translating from Japanese to Arabic in Morocco. I know the process works from English,  French however Japanese not sure. I would suggest get them translated in Japan and get them stamped by Ministry of external affairs Japan. The processing time after it has been accepted in court is 2 weeks max. I am also traveling to Morocco next week in shah ALLAH. Note also the rules of court changes from cities to cities. Mine is Marrakech.

I am now married, but I can say procedure was very hard!
We had to go back to court so many times that is fustrating.
It took about 20 days so at the end we could make it.

Lucky you it took you 20 days. I been waiting for months to get the marriage certificate and still need to wait more. Administration system here sacks. It is very outdated,,maybe since the cave man Times. They are corrupted to the bone most of the judges and very inefficient. They lack logic completely. Be prepared to wait very long time for services and documents that in Europe you may get it within 24 hours. Its unbelievable time, money and mind consuming to get normal documents here. Its not third world country when it comes to the administration.. Its like 10th world country.. Jungle is much more friendly

You are very right! It's the worse and it feels like they want us the struggle before giving us  permition to marry. It's true maybe we were lucky, but also we put a bit presure at  court we did not move  from there everytime. And to make it quick we took every documents ourself to the  judge. If we did not do that, the adul  would take a month or more.
When the adul finnished writing marriage certificate, the adul told us it need to be signed by the judge, so we asked them to give us we take it to judge ourself. After we took it back to adul and there was a final sign from jugde, again!!! So we did take it to judge  again, but 2 days later.
That is why we could get it quicker.

Sadly it takes a long to finnish the process. Becsuse first, the convertion can take 2 or 3 days. After that judge permission. I couldn't understand why but we needed about judge signing and stamping on documents about 4 times. Also police investigation,it takes 2 or 3 days. But at court it's the worse experience we had coz we went there so many timess until we finnished Everything. After that, we had to wait for marriage certificate. So we made it in 20 days. It could have been longer...

Yes u need your police check and birth certificate legalised first. Rabat only takes one day!

I didn’t even need this paper! I didn’t take it and I married on Monday! The only papers I legalised were the birth certificate and acro police one!

No not at all! Basically u go on the gov.uk website and do it that way. U fill out a form and pay the money and it tells u exactly where to send it etc. Very easy process. Go to google - type in legalise documents and the gov.uk website should come up first. Click on that and then follow the instructions! And no worries at all - was very confusing when I did it all so happy to help now I have been through it all!

I've searched and for the ACRO document it says it must be signed, unless of course it is signed when issued? I am stilling waiting to receive the document, was yours already signed?
this is what the gov website says:
'Your ACRO police certificate must be certified by a solicitor or notary public in the UK.

When the solicitor or notary public signs the document, they must:

have a valid practising certificate
sign the document in the UK
state the action they have taken eg witnessed, certified a copy, confirmed as original
use their personal signature, not a company signature
include the date of certification
include their name and company address'

Not sure what to do now! very confusing as theres so many different stories!
