Retiring soon

Post new topic

Sparky4104

Greetings,
I am retiring from Australia soon and want to find comfortable area in Phillipines with nice climate, cooler,  and not in cities.  Plus any information on bank account details to set up bank would be helpful.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Sparkly,

Congratulations on retirement.

When you consider the area's to live in don't forget typhoons and to a lessor degree earthquake.

Portagelira (hmm not sure if I have spelt that correctly).

Hi...going to have about 95000.00 pesos per month on top of savings.

Hi,
No, cant find portegelua place you mentioned

95,000 pesos per month is okay to live on here. Keep the savings in case you don't like the Philippines.

Tagatay is a cooler place. Nuvali Santa Rosa Laguna is warmer than Tagatay but cooler than Manila.

Thank you!

Sorry mate I had, had a couple beers, Puerto Galera is nice.  A good number of expats, nice beaches (free, many beaches here are privately owned and as such you have to pay to enter)

95,000php a month you can live here on that.  But then comes the standard points of where you want to live, do you want to party a lot, do you want to fly home every 3 months, do you want to own a car, etc etc.
