My husband and I will be moving from the USA to the Netherlands in April or May.  We're trying to learn Dutch. I'd like a tutor or class in Rotterdam once we arrive and need to budget for it now.  Can anyone give me options and price ranges?

Hi - can you just confirm your immigration status when you get to Holland.  I mean are either you or your husband coming here to a job, or are you retiring etc, etc?  The rules on immigration vary and some of them require you to learn Dutch (and pass an exam) before you get there.

Once I know this I can better advise you.

Hi!  We're both coming to work - Highly Skilled Migrants.
Thank you!

OK - so you're not coming to Holland with the intention of staying there, so you won't need to go through the MVV integration process.

Not sure what level of Dutch you need, so I did a quick Google search of language schools in Rotterdam; this link will take you there.  The information is mostly in Dutch, but Google Translate will help you and to be honest, the phone numbers are pretty obvious.

Give some of them a call, explain what you're looking for and ask for a quote.

If you have any further specific questions, please come back to us.

Hope this helps.
