Bringing family with small children to Bristol

Post new topic

Hazrini

I am planning for a? fellowship attachment in Bristol for a year. Bringing own salary.

Questions:
1. Was informed will need Tier 2 visa, is this right?
2. Bringing a baby less than a year, a 5 yer old and, 11 and 12 year old children. Is it possible to get free education for my children in the state schools or other kind of schools?

Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Who has told you that you need a Tier 2 visa?

If you and your family are in the UK with a residence visa, then public schools are open to your children; public schools are basically free, but you may be required to pay for some non-curricula activities.

Hope this helps.
