Reject entry for Singapore

Post new topic

Hi,

I've a relative being caught consume drugs/ecstacy 4 years ago.
Been trying many times to write in by mail/email to ICA but everytime replied with unsuccessful outcome.

I doubts my writing skills not good enough to appeal for my relative.
While I would like to seek helps and advise on what I can do to help my relative.

Is that mean caught consume with drugs = can't entry into Singapore forever?!
Or any period that eg. after 5 years, my relative will be able to visit Singapore again?

Rgds

Carrying or possession of drug is serious offence in both Singapore and Malaysia. I don’t want to go into details of the incident but certainly it’s not that offense where you write a letter and ICA remove him from ban list. I would suggest visit ICA office and talk to the officer on what could be the best approach (if any) from your end in order for your relative to visit again Singapore. Good luck

If your relative has a criminal conviction for drug possession, the ban might be forever.
This is one of the few topics where the Singapore authorities know no mercy!
