Effectivity date of resignation

Post new topic

Bh-wanderer

I'm with my company for 5 years this coming September 2018. Did submit my resignation letter directly to my employer but did not sign it. I will be sending my resignation letter to the post office via registered mail by tomorrow 11April 2018.
My question is, is it alway 30 days notice for the effectivity date of the said resignation ? Or is it ok if its 15 days notice only?

Thanks!

at least 30 days notice and maximum 3 months as per as LMRA.

Thanks...😊

Depends on your contract.  Varies from 30 days onwards.

My employer never renewed my contract, just renewing my working visa.

The only conract we had was the first two years with my employer which was valid  22 September 2013 -  22 September 2015... up until now we never had any formal signing up to date.

Thanks!

Doesn't matter.  The contract that was uploaded to LMRA for processing your work visa will apply.
