Post new topic

Would like to hear from anyone living in these areas  ?
Have visited Cebu mainly for past 5 years .  A few months each year.
Have struggled with the heat  abd  traffic pollution.
Are places like Baguio and Tagay tay  more  favourable  places to live in this respect ?

Well they are cooler due to the elevation, but both have bad traffic congestion so the air pollution is still significant. I agree that Cebu is bad in the city but it gets better if you go up the hill out of Lahug. There are some nice condos up there at 150-200m.  I live in one and it's not too bad. Up in the mountainous province locations it's also much cleaner, but there's nothing to do. Valencia, up above Dumaguete is a nice compromise I think.

But generally, air pollution really sucks in most cities. Need to get the older smoke-belching jeepneys and trucks off the road.  I can't believe they allow them. It's a crime against the poor who live along the roads, not to mention most schools.
