Hello all,
I purchased a property last year {June} in Manilva {Malaga region} and I understand that I'll be paying from June to December 2017 only. This is where the questions begin.

1} Are we both as husband and wife required to file separate returns or is one person enough.

2} Is Form 210 the only form that we need to complete or is there more forms

3} How is the tax calculated and where would I go to get the information, for example would I go to the local council office for the relevant information????

and If I'm missing any other relevant questions please feel free to add.

Regards Fhan

Each owner is required to submit a separate 210 (for each property owned).

Although the form is fairly simple I would suggest that for at least the first submission you employ a gestor.  Shop around for the best price. (Guide price about 50 euros maybe for the two).

The tax must be paid in the year after it is incurred and is payable anytime between 1st January and 31st December
