Registration of property that has not got full permission

I would like to bring to attention to everyone that there was a document released by the government of Montenegro about properties that had been build without permission or properties that had not being registered with the correct ground floor space .There could be a lot of properties like this in Montenegro as a lot of people did not register their roof space as living accommodation.
I know the government issued a statement regarding these issues and gave people a short time frame to sort it out but I am not sure weather they have extended the deadline for this matter. It would be good to know from any expats have they had any issues with this.

I got in touch with a really good surveyor I know.  He came and did all the measurements and submitted the paperwork.

As far as I understand there may be some sort of fee to pay in the future but payments will be spread over a 10 year period.

My theory is that they may be added to annual property taxes.

Anyone know any more on this subject.

I did see a news article that there is over 1 million properties in this situation in Monty.

It looks a handy way to take in extra money.
