I ve just been denied entry to Bahrain with my family at Saudi immigration and no reason was given except that Pakistanis cannot enter bahrain for now.  I go to Bahrain often and never had is experience before. Any new rules changes? There is information on this subject anywhere.

Well, the officer that we met was bit more curtious. He said he has orders and have no more information other than you cannot enter Bahrain for now. We'll you can't argue with them but yes I agree, they should provide little more info because people are confused.

Same happened to me and my friend at Saudi Custom Side this morning. They just said you can't get Bahrain side without any reason.

From 10 july, The Bahrain has put travel ban on Pakistani nationals for getting all kind of visas (visit, work, dependent).

We  are discussing this issue from one month on this post. Kindly follow the following link.

Just to let you guys know that, Pakistanis should apply for a visa before going to Bahrain. I was told this verbally by imagination officer at Bahraini side.

I ve found this website. I haven't used it yet.

That's been clear ever since the crisis started but if you have followed the main/correct thread for this discussion, you would know that issuance of visas for Pakistani's is also a problem since mid July (only the causeway situation is recent)

As mentioned before, please do not create duplicate threads and follow the main one.

Mods, please close this thread.

I respect your views, I think still there is a lot of confusion as no official confirmation is there. However,  my apologies for any inconvenience caused from my side.  I just wanted to clear and guide people from my experience. Good day!

No worries.

If you go through the thread, the basic problem is:

1) July - All transactions for Pakistani's were put on hold i.e. new visas, renewals etc.  Visa on arrival via causeway continued to work
2) Late July - Renewals of existing permits continued to work but new visas - work & visit continued to have issues
3) August - Same as 2 above but visa on arrival also stopped for Pakistani's for most menial professions

All of this is very clear which means that applying for a visa is not the solution as it will not get approved.  Secondly, what you need to know is that the evisa site issues visas which are NOT valid for travel via the causeway.

And as I have said repeatedly on all threads, this is not an official ban (driven by foreign policy) but one that was been done as a security reaction so therefore, there is likely to be no official statement to that effect.  This will eventually be resolved but no one knows how long it will take.
