Hi Khush,

Could you please drop an advert in the Housing in Singapore section of the website ? You might get some offers.

You may also have a look at the Accommodation in Singapore article, you  will find some links to specialised websites at the bottom.

All the best,
Bhavna

Ask your employer to provide accommodation for a week or two, so that you will get enough time to find a room according to your budget.

You can find a room online, you may Google or visit website such as rentinsingapore or gumtree or easyroommate.

In many cases, owner or actual person under whose name rental agreement is signed will ask you to sign a typical 1yr (min 6months or max 18months) contract.

If by "1 room or Condo apartment" you mean a one-room/studio apartment: Those are very, very rare in Singapore and usually cost more than 2-room units.
If you meant a sublet room in a shared flat, just go ahead and do as Bhavna and Surya advised above.
Good luck!

Thanks , My employer is providing 2 week commendation..
@ Surya --One query , What type of contract it is ..? I mean is that like rent agreement .

If i need to change my room before contract period  , then generally  what are the conditions need to follow as per contract .

beppi

Yes, Surya meant rental contracts. Six months is the minimum by law, but one (or even two) years are more common. You can only terminate them before expiry if that is explicitly written in the contract - very often it is not, which means even if you move out you have to continue paying the rent until expiry!
