Hi im an indonesian citizen and want to apply schengen visa in singapore. Has anyone ever applied in singapore? Since I start working in singapore next month and don’t have bank account at all , can I use my parent’s bank account from indonesia instead ? (Along With the sponsor letter stating that the parents will fund all the expenses) . Thank you

You can open your bank account here, it can take few minutes to open account with your passport and work pass card.
I’m surprised that you don’t have a bank account here till now. Then, how will your employer credit your salary?

In Singapore, a foreign work pass holder must have an account, you can’t use your parents overseas account here.

Yes because I just started working next month and will open the bank account next month . But in schengen visa applying it cannot be using my dad’s bank account and sponsor letter? Because he’s the one who will sponsor my trip all of the expenses. What if I also give both - my singapore bank account and my dad’s overseas account? It doesnt let me know on the website

You must apply for the Schengen visda at the embassy of the country you want to visit. Each country has different rules and accept different payment methods, therefore I recommend you contact the embassy to ask for available options.
