Hi guys,

I have a temporary bsn. I thought I would be able to get a proper address and housing in those four months but it's not lookin that way now.

Does anyone know if I can get another temporary BSN whilst I search for a house or is that a no go?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

A BSN is a BSN, the only difference is the database they exist on. A worker on the temporary BSN database is there because they told the authorities they don't intend to stay in the Netherlands.

Providing the owner of the property where you are living permits it, you can register from any address in the Netherlands; we've had people on here who registered while staying in a hotel.

So check your landlord will permit registration, then contact the Gemeente where you registered and inform them of your change of circumstances.
