Dear Members

I am planning to move to Copenhagen, Denmark with spouse and 2 kids on permanent employment for a Software Architect role in a consulting firm.

The employer explained the visibility of this role for very long term. However, I would like to understand how frequently the employers in Denmark hire and fire in few months to a year(s).  It would be good to know - if I have to bring my family with me or not.

Kindly type in your views

If you have been offered a job on a permanent basis, you can depend it will be a permanent job.

A probation period of 3 months is quite normal, but this would have been mentioned to you if they wanted to make use of this possibility.

Don't worry!
