Wait time for Citizenship

Post new topic

dom106

Hey,

I'm a 3rd Gen Maltese (Grandfathers born in Malta)

I'm about to apply in Sydney Australia for dual citizenship and wondering how long the whole process took? I've read up to 2 years!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as there's not that much info out there

You are correct or possibly longer.

Damm,

Do you have a similar experience?

The wait time is horrendous. However, if you do it in Malta it’s a lot quicker (obviously not always possible to do so) but just thought I would explain that there is a big difference in time doing it in Malta.
