Moving to Morocco

Post new topic

Madenat7

My husband and I are an older couple living in Cairo. He wants to move to Morocco, preferably to a smaller place such as Tetouan. He is an accountant and very good at it, but would prefer some other kind of work, whatever is available. I am not sure such a move would be wise at our age and am aware that living in Morocco is more expensive than in Egypt. I know Morocco but my husband does not. I would appreciate hearing from some locals about present day opportunities and pitfalls, especially in
the Tangier/Tetouan region.

I have some advises to you first you could came to Morocco just for a small trip and visit many cites ,However you are right about  living there it's more expensive (factor 2) than  Egypt but also more pretty and peaceful  especially in the old cities like Marrakesh, Rabat, Essaouira
I hope that my English is understood

Hello Madenat7
before you fully move to Morocco - your husband should have a work and work permit in advance.

Asilah is a nice small city to live , it is near Tanger , but Casablanca  has more working opportunities for the forigners.
