Do any resort management opportunities ever come up for a husband/wife team?
And if they do, how would one hear about them?

The only ones I have seen, the husband/wife bought the small resort to run themselves.

For a large resort, managers are generally brought in by the corporation that owns the resort.

Example, two weeks ago I met the new manager of one of the upscale resorts on the Placencia peninsula. That resort was just bought by a Miami based hotel chain.

If you have read past posts in this forum and elsewhere, you will recall that non-Belize citizens can not work here unless they have unique qualifications that no Belize citizens have. However one can buy or start a business here to manage and employ Belize citizens to do the work.
