Without a comprehensive pension scheme (CPF is mere forced saving that can be used - and many do - for other purposes like buying property - for own occupation only, education of children and medical treatment, so many have insufficient funds left at old age) and a social safety net, any official „retirement age“ is near meaningless in Singapore.
Many old people, especially the lower social ranks, have to work as long as they physically can. Only well-earning kids (who must provide for their parents by law and social convention) can prevent this - if you have any.
