Hi and welcome to the Forum.

There are no public French language teaching schools anywhere in the Netherlands, all tuition is in the Dutch language; there may well be some private schools that teach in French, but I'm not aware of any and I suspect they will teach in English; I suggest you use Google to try and find some.

Terneuzen is in South Holland and not far from the Belgian border where all officialdom is dual language (Dutch/French), but the French-speaking part is mainly in the regions south of Brussels, which is over 100 km by road, so not really commutable.  School language tuition in the North of Belgium is in Dutch.

How old are your children and how long do you intend to stay in Holland (in as much as is it a place you are considering staying long-term)?

Hope this helps.

Dear Cynic
Thank you very much for your feedback, my kids are now 4 years in august they will have 5.
We are living in Morocco and they speak only arabic and fench, my concern is their integration within other kids in Terneuzen
I assume that my relocation will be for long term in Netherlandsz terneuzen so theu are my first concern and would like to insure a smooth relocation and integration for them especially when it come to language and communication
From the other hand im worried in case i enroll them in a public school how the teachers will deal with them given they do not speak or understand Deutch, in wich class I should enroll them.... many many questions come to my mind and hope I can find an answer in your forum
Again, thank you very much for taking time to answer my post

Marhaba, hi

In Terneuzen there's a huge American company, called Dow. They contract expats often and they have to deal with the same issues as you do now.
I don't assume that you'll be working for Dow but in general schools in Terneuzen deal with this kind of students.

What you can do already is to prepare your kids for the move and let them already learn some Dutch. There are many tools available online where you can accomplishes some of it. They'll make easily friends if they can say something and kids are able to adapt a language very quickly. You'll be amazed.
Contact the "gemeente Terneuzen " online by sending them an email and ask for information.

Hi again,

I don't think your children will experience any issues in the Netherlands; it is a multicultural country with many children in the same situation as yours.  The Dutch state schools are very good and will be experienced in dealing with your children and helping them to integrate.   As Primadonna has said, Terneuzen and the local area is a place with many expats (mainly because of the Dow company there).  You'll be amazed at how quickly they learn Dutch and make friends with other children there; we never had a single issue when we first moved there.

I wish you the best of luck in your move.

Thank you very much for your comment, indeed I'm working for this company and having a plan to move there if everything went as I wish :)
I will contact the organism you shared with me and hope to have an answer as i'm very very worried about my kids integration and this may influence my decision and may be push me to think again about mooving there
