How likely my application will be rejected?

Post new topic

Djagon

Hello.
I got an offer from a Singaporean company. They applied for my epass.
My main concern is that I spent only 8-9 months on my 2 last jobs (a lot
of sites say that it may be a problem).

nationality: Russian
education: an analog of a masters degree
occupation: Senior Software Developer
job exp : ~8 years
salary from the offer : ~12k gross
29 years old, single

Upd: right now I work in Tokyo

Yes, MoM dislikes job hoppers and has rejected work pass applications because of that in the past.
The only way to find out whether your case is seen as bad enough to be rejected, or not, is to apply and wait for the result.

The only difference for MoM would be, you are working in a different country, not in Singapore. Secondly, your skills set matches Govt Long term plans where they give priority to people who have unique skills or experiences in few fields including software development.

Hope you will get your EP approval under 3 weeks timeframe. Good luck

Thank you for your replies. Will be waiting for the result.

The status has just changed to Approved.
I took almost 3 weeks.
