Me too have a similar information with a small twist that is one can apply for permanent residency immediately after staying here for a 1 year period. And then it takes anything from 3 to 6 or max 9 months for the approval decision to arrive. And once you have stayed for five years as a long whole tuen you are eligible for the nationality.
