Hi,

Quick question - so, I got my IPA today. However, my social pass will expire today. I know that I need to exit the country but how long do I have to be out of the country?

Did you read our recent comment on same question in this forum?

I had mentioned that you can visit ICA to seek their approval to extend your visit visa. If they say yes, then for you no need to leave Singapore.

If it was not successful, then leave Singapore and try to visit a day or two before your joining date (or 5 days from your leaving date). Then go for medical check up and your employer can arrange appointment at MoM for other formalities. Good luck

I did, Surya. But , you know processes tend to change from time to time.

Before I post my question here - I did some research as well but ICA itself does not have a guideline online. I phoned them also.

Anyway, If I may ask - what's the rational why I can't do a an exit and entry on the same day with my IPA?
