Hello all.
Before my wife/German Shepard and myself permanently put down roots in and/or around Andalucia, we feel to rent for a minimum of 12 months would be advisable. Can anyone recommend one of the following.
A very good long term renting agent, and/or, a self experienced dedicated retirement park residential owner.
Yes, I've been on the Internet and no I'm not being lazy and getting you guys to do all the work.....there's so many. I need input from someone who's got the t-shirt.
Another option would be to buy land and ready to move in country house......now to me that's very very scary.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Mike,
You say "in and/or around Andalucia" !
Andalucia is some 60% the size of England.
Many Spanish businesses are family affairs, so you will likely be looking for one person, who will have a business in one city - or one area of Andalucia. I don´t know of any "chains" that do rentals - but there are large numbers of estate agents (inmobiliarios) in every decent-sized town, some even have websites.
An idea may be for you to rent short-term in several locations, choose where you want to settle, then search for rental agents locally (eg. inmobiliarios).
Of course it is always best to get a personal recommendation but the area (Andalucia) is just too big!
We looked for 5 years for a house to buy in Granada (we saw about 80 houses), in the end we bought a ruin and built our own house on the land.
Good luck.

Just adding to Simon’s post:

Lancashire is 3,000 sq Kms:  Andalucia 87,000 kms.  As one will appreciate that makes it just about impossible to give significant advice

Thanks you two.
No harm in casting your net far and wide.
I didn't ramble on for the reason I didn't want to send everybody to sleep.
Point to point we will be looking to cover from Seville to Almeria to about 1hrs drive from the coast.
At least that narrows it down a little bit.
Anyway brilliant feedback.
Regards
Mike
