Advice needed from French citizens...!

Hi to all. Im from Pondicherry, India. The place which most of the french people would know i guess, as it was once under the french rule. I would like to locate myself to France to work there, for that im learning French right now. If anyone could tell me the procedures of getting work visa or something like that, it would be helpful for me.
