Find a dental hygiene job

I am 56 years old I have over 20 years experience in dental hygiene looking to retire in Belize but would like to actually go before I retire. I am from Vermont although I lived in Colorado for 20 years I have been to Belize once and fell in love with it so I was just wondering how hard or easy would it be to find a dental hygiene job around the San Ignacio area.

To get such a position you will need a work permit if you could connect with a dental ciinic in that area of Belize and hope they will sponsor you, that is possibly the only way. The alternative is to get a self employment work permit will take time after you get here and is not guaranteed. Belize is not an easy place for an expat to get employment. Working on the Belize economy would mean expecting a salary that is a fraction of what you would expect in the US or Canada. A " Very good" salary pays $15bze an hour that $7.50 US.
