EP appeal status changed to "Pending" from "Rejected" after 3 weeks

Post new topic

Hi Guys,

I need a small thing to get clarified.

My employer applied for EP before 1.5 months. The application was rejected due to job posting issue.
Then they appealed after 14 days of new job posting. Now it has been 3 weeks since they applied for appeal.

I checked for the EP status this morning - it was in "rejected" state.
And, Now when i checked in the afternoon the status changed to "pending".

Note: The Date of application is also changed to today.

I would like to know why the application status is changed to pending from rejected suddenly?

Is this a good sign ?

Apparently, MoM interpreted your employer's submission not as appeal, but as new application. And since today they started processing it.

From first day after appeal my employer updated me the status as "pending". But for me when I checked it was shown as rejected. But yesterday it got changed to pending.

Why is it so? And how many days will it take for me to get the EP? ANY IDEA?
