Hi,

I searched everywhere but I couldn´t find an answer to this one. Hope someond could help me.

I Never lived in NL before.
I am moved in (hired from abroad) in Feb 2017, but didn't meet the minimum salary criteria for 30% ruling.
Now, Aug 2019, still in the same company I have been promoted and can meet the salary criteria.
Question: am I eligible  for 30% ruling? If so, for how many years from today can I receive the 30% ruling? 5 years or 5 years from Feb 2017?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I'm not so sure you will qualify; you have lived in the Netherlands for 2.5 years in a job that did not qualify for the 30% status; the rules say "The employee has to have lived more than 2/3rd of the 24 month period outside aforementioned 150km radius prior to starting employment".  So, no, I don't think you will qualify.

That said, I'm not a tax expert; get your company to speak to the Belastingdienst and ask.

Hope this helps.

Mmmmh.. what is not clear is  if the minimum salary requirements needs to be met at moment of entering Netherlands or at the moment you sent the application
