VAT payment

Hello,
I need to pay a bill, and i am not sure if the amount already includes VAT or if I should add to the amount VAT.

The invoice states the following:

Gesamtsumme: 139.54 EUR
- davon MwSt 8.68 EUR

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Loosely translated, it says Total 139.54 - from that 8.68 is the VAT (or MwSt as they call it in German).

So I would say the total bill is 139.54.
