MVV Processing Time

Hi,

My husband got the highly skilled migrant visa from the IND and we applied for the MVV on 4th sept 2019 at Netherlands embassy is Johannesburg since we are currently based here.
He got his MVV printed on the passport yesterday but mine is still under process.

How long does it take for the spouse to get the MVV?
Do they ever reject MVV?
If yes, then what are the next steps?
If they want any document from our end do they send an email or call or wait for us to check the status?

Assuming your documents were submitted together, your MVV should not be far behind your husbands - they're normally applied for and issued together.

To answer your specific questions:

Maximum of 90 days

Yes; if rejected you can appeal

Your application would have been rejected if anything was missing; if they want anything else, or have any questions, they will contact you via the details you gave them when you applied.
